Favorite thing about CU-Boulder: The campus. My favorite thing to do is finding a hidden spot under a tree on campus and reading a book on a beautiful day, or watching the sun set behind the stunning flatirons.

Favorite place to eat in Boulder: Zoe Ma Ma, super yummy Chinese street food!

Piece of advice to applicants:  Challenge yourself and go outside your comfort zone, it's where the magic happens.

International experience: Lived abroad in Romania and China

Interests/activities: Rock climbing, year-round swimming, scuba diving, blues harmonica, travel and road trips, and international cooking with family and friends.

Favorite thing about CU-Boulder: CU is increasingly becoming a global crossroads for students, scholars and the community alike.  I am always amazed by the accessibility of CU’s world-class faculty and administrators and how readily students and staff collaborate with faculty on engaging research, volunteer work and other diverse community activities.

Favorite place to eat in Boulder: Lucile’s Creole Café—best breakfast in town for over 30 years!

Piece of advice to applicants:  Your college years will be some of your most memorable and life-changing years. Enjoy it to the fullest by joining as many groups as possible, whether it’s student groups, academic groups, or team sports. Not only is this a great way to meet people and making meaningful connections, but it will also help you develop your strengths and interests.
