Hey Friends!

I’m actually writing this blog to you on my first official snow day here at CU. The last semi-snow day we had was my freshman year, when they closed campus after 1pm. What am I doing to celebrate the snow? I’m glad you asked J

Back again! This past week just flew by, and now its crunch time. I’m currently working on creating a literary unit of study for first graders. I’m supposed to be working with my group right now, but I’m distracted J We are currently sitting in the University Memorial Center, slaving over the corrections for our unit that is due tomorrow.

Who knew break would come so soon? As I sit on my bed back home in New York, I’m thinking to myself …okay, when do I get to go back to Boulder again? As I was landing in Newark airport (side note: don’t ever fly into Newark if you don’t have to), I realized how fortunate I am to be able to attend such an incredible school and get such an incredible education.

Wow! Two more weeks until Thanksgiving break…can someone remind me how that happened again? I feel like every semester of college has been going by faster and faster as I get older and older. Scary thought right? Upcoming exciting events though are:

With a very busy week ahead of me, I felt the need to get away for some good old R&R this weekend. My friend invited a bunch of our friends from our floor in the dorms (way back from Freshman year) up to her grandparent’s cabin in Grand Lake, Colorado.
