Bonjour toute le monde!

I hope everyone is doing well! We are approaching the end of the semester, and I am have three weeks left in the semester.  This is a first for me... I am not stressed about the end! My classes here are somewhat easier than they are back at CU, but I think what is mostly contributing to the lack of stress I am feeling is the Southern French lifestyle of relaxation and enjoying life to the fullest.

Bonjour tout le monde!

Firstly, Happy Earth Day! I hope you are all cutting back on your energy uses today. Unplug those appliances! Turn off those lights! Walk, bike, public transit your way around! We only get one world, let's protect it.

Alright, rant over.

A Day at the Beach

Saturday, April 18, 2015

Bonjour tout le monde!

As I write this, there is snow on the ground in Colorado, and here, today will be a lovely 75 degrees! Fahrenheit, not Celsius. Though I will be in a conference all day, I thought I would write about the lovely day at the beach I had last weekend.

Homestay? Sign me up.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015

Bonjour!

A lot of our study abroad programs at CU have homestay options, so I thought I would write about how AWESOME mine is!

Before I came to France, I was a little nervous about doing a homestay. I had heard horror stories about them from people I know, and I was under the impression that I was going to have a bad one. I had just accepted the fact that that's the way it was going to be. Au contraire, mon ami. On the contrary!

7 Things I Miss Most

Friday, April 3, 2015

Bonjour tout le monde!

I cannot believe how quickly this semester is going... it is April. What? When did that happen? I can't believe in a little over two months, I will be returning to DIA to meet my awaiting family. Though I am really enjoying my time here in France, I am looking forward to go home. Of course I am taking advantage of all of the opportunities I have here, like traveling, going on adventures, meeting people, and practicing my French. I do really miss Boulder.

Things I miss most about Boulder, Colorado, and the United States in general:

Bonjour tout le monde!

Hello everyone!

One of the best things about my study abroad program is definitey the fact that we get to go so many places with our classes.  By the end of this semester, I will have visited four wine vineyards with my wine tasting class, museums in Nice and Marseilles with my art history class, and a concentration camp and Marseilles with my history class.

Hi everyone!

Spring has arrived, and yet the temperatures still remain cold here in Aix. I have definitely been homesick for Boulder this week. It has been so warm this week there, and I have seen so many pictures of people lounging on Norlin quad and hiking Chataqua. Although I love it here, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to spend four months in France, I definitely miss Boulder and my friends.  I am looking forward to getting back to Boulder this summer!

Enjoying My Time in Aix

Thursday, March 12, 2015

Hi everyone!

With traveling so much, I haven’t really been able to enjoy spending much time in Aix. The last few days, I have tried to spend as much time experiencing the French lifestyle!

Hi everyone! It has certainly been awhile since I’ve written a post, but let me tell you, study abroad is busier than you think!
