I always feel like I start any school related post with ... "it's that time of year." From finals to break... "it's that time of year." I'm about to do it again so bear with me! It's that time of year to start looking for housing next year! I currently live in Longmont, Colo., which is 25 minutes away from Boulder, but I am ready to live in Boulder my senior year!

This week I thought I would name drop a few places I enjoy going to for happy hour! By happy hour, I mean GREAT food for CHEAP prices. Even if you aren't 21 yet, you can still gather a group of friends and indulge in the many happy hour deals that happen throughout the week at many places in Boulder. I have only chosen to share 3, but these are my top picks. I'm sure there are many other great deals out there.

Howdy everyone! 

I feel like my last blog post was ages ago. The last thing I wrote about was making gift baskets for friends and family... and Christmas music! That has almost been a month ago... WOW. 

A lot has happened since then! 

I have come to completely appreciate the RTD bus system in Boulder and all over the state in the last few weeks. Normally I commute from Longmont (a small suburb town of Boulder) because that is where I currently live, but I have been house-sitting and dog-sitting for some friends in Boulder this past month. My car was giving me troubles and I had to be in Fort Collins the next morning for an interview. Fort Collins, mind you, is almost a 2-hr. commute from Boulder.

Hey everyone! 

Long time, no blog. My apologies! 

 My semester has picked up tremendously and I am slowly realizing the difficulties of taking 18 credits (6 classes) on top of work and my social life! Complaints set aside, however, I will share with you one of the coolest projects I am currently working on. 

Note: What I am about to share with you is totally stereotypical of Boulder, but it is important nonetheless!

Waking up before noon on a Saturday or Sunday after a night out with friends may seem less than thrilling...

BUT

Boulder has some of the best places to grab breakfast that it's worth getting you and your friends' butts outta bed to check out!! 

Bonus: college town=relatively cheap places

My list of top 5 breakfast places (in no particular order):

1.) Snooze

Arrrrgggg... 

I know a few posts back I said I loved the rain and it was a nice break from the warm weather we'd been having... blah.. blah... but this weekend, the rain is totally ruining my plans!!! 

The Admissions Office was going to have a kick ball competition between the Financial Aid Office and we were totally going to kick butt but since mother nature decided to let it rain and be cold this weekend.... our tournament was cancelled. Don't worry, once we play the rescheduled game Admissions is totally going to win!
