Hello all!

It is early on Sunday morning and I just finished eating a bagel from my favorite bagel shop in Boulder and I’m sipping on a latte getting ready to study. On Friday, I turned in my senior project and yesterday, I had one final for my International Political Economy class. Four more to go! Even though finals time is not my favorite time here at CU, it is still a little weird and sad to think that these are my final finals.

This weekend Boulder finally got some of that sunshine Colorado is infamous for.

Ahhh Springtime! Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and the sun is shining….well, in some places.  Welcome to springtime in the Rockies--- where the months are filled with more snow than some places get during the winter.

This week was the Conference on World Affaris (CWA) here on CU's campus. This is one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite, traditions that happens at CU and I thought I should dedicate a special blog post to this great event. 

If you’ve read any of my other posts, you probably know at least two things about me.

1) I love CU
2) I love Student Ambassadors/being a Student Ambassador

My whole life I have dreamed of visiting New York City. I’ve spent a lot of time watching Friends, Gossip Girl, Sex and the City and dreaming of what it would be like to walk down the streets where these shows were set. This Spring Break, my dream finally came true!

I have spent this lovely Saturday night with the wonderful company of my Anthropology, International Political Economy, and Arab Awakening homework. I know it is lame, but a part of college is knowing when to stay home with your books over going out with your friends.  

Well, it’s that time again--- midterm time. During this crazy week, you might find me locked away in my most favorite study spots on campus, or procrastinating in my most favorite spots around Boulder. This midterm week(s) I have done a little bit of both. You see, my time here in Boulder and at CU is limited. I mean, I will be graduating in…too soon to even mention, and every time I think about it, my heart aches. So, I have decided that this semester, even though I am crazy busy, I will take time to stop and smell the roses and enjoy all that is Boulder.

This past week my favorite program the Office of Admissions offers for prospective students started up again--- Student for a Day. But I will talk a little bit more about that later…
