Why We Live in Colorado

Thursday, January 20, 2011

One of the great things about going to CU-Boulder is the proximity to the mountains. It’s only about a 2 1/2 hour drive, and you’re on the slopes. One of the great things about the AP (advanced placement) program is that you can knock out a ton of college credit (can you say 41 credit-hours?) and have a very flexible schedule. For me, this means I’m lucky enough to have no class on Thursdays this Spring semester! Depending on my extra-curricular activities, I’ll be able to log lots of snow time this season!

Today, I was lucky enough to find a ride to Vail, one of the nicer resorts here. It was a beautiful day, and not crowded at all, because it was a weekday.
