Welcome! To all the Freshmen, Transfer Students and Returning Students.
The first two weeks of this new year have been great. Even though I'm taking nineteen credit hours of school work, I have found time to juggle my extracurricular activities and do so thoroughly. Well, we got a three-day weekend because today was Labor Day. Beyond all the celebration, it's important to remember the meaning of Labor Day. So, here's a shout out to all those who diligently work for an honest living and who contribute to the betterment of our lives in general. Including unpaid mothers, fathers and guradians.
(FREE) Taste of Colorado was my fun little treat for the holidays.
My friends and I rode the bus to Denver to listen to great local music, taste local foods and enjoy Downtown Denver.
COLORADO SWEET CORN ^^
VV More delicious food:
TURKEY LEGS ^^
And guess who came to play...
The One and Only Boyz II Men:
BOYZ II MEN ^^
^^ LAUGHTER AND SMILES.
I'll just chip in that in order to truly enjoy the non-academic moments while a student at CU, procrastination has to become an enemy. One has to create a plan against this parasite. I got all my school work done between Friday and Sunday, By Monday I was ready to make use of my holiday.
Be blessed and have a great week!
