Today was a day filled with Boulder and fall fun.
I started out the day by going to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect carving pumpkin. I found this great little patch no more than five miles from my apartment. There are so many little treasures like that in Boulder….and you don’t even have to travel very far.
This pumpkin patch had hay rides, a corn maze, kittens, goats, and a variety of pumpkins to choose from.
We ended up getting two huge pumpkins for only $15! After my boyfriend and I searched for, and found our perfect pumpkins, and conquered the corn maze, we decided we were hungry.
So, we ventured to the Boulder Café. The Boulder Café is a delicious, local eatery on Pearl Street. The best part about the Boulder Café? Their happy hour. As a college student, one of the most valuable things to me is cheap, but delicious food. And I’ve found that at the Boulder Café. From 3PM to close every day, some of their most delicious menu items are half off. Yes, half off! My personal favorite is their fondue.
After our delicious and cheap dinner, we walked around Pearl Street and decided that we were in the mood for dessert. So, where else would we go but Boulder Baked? We got the 6er with a variety of cookies we have never tried before. As you know, “eat as many Boulder Baked cupcakes and cookies” is on my Boulder bucket list…so this delicious box of cookies will definitely help me reach my goal.
So, I’m going to leave you until next week so I can go enjoy the rest of this Sunday Funday, relaxing and preparing for the busy week ahead with my cookies, my boyfriend and possibly some pumpkin carving.
