You are here
In the Fall of 2013, I will be spending a semester in Istanbul Turkey. Needless to say I can't wait.
One definite strength of CU-Boulder is our Study Abroad Office. The people are awesome, and very helpful. Many students here are keen to study abroad, and the university has met this demand gracefully. They have an excellent website (https://studyabroad.colorado.edu/). The sites best feature is the search tool. CU has hundreds of approved programs, and you can search these many programs by almost anything. City, country, price, semester, anything. I found my program in Turkey simply by searching for programs that I could get marketing credit for.
I will be receiving major credit while in Turkey, and I have already gotten a series of classes approved, so I know that the credit will transfer back with me. The other excellent thing is that there are certain programs where you can actually study abroad and pay almost exactly the same as you would here in Boulder.
If you are interested in studying abroad, I encourage you to check out the link, click on the programs tab and search around, just to see if anything catches your eye. In a weird way, it's kinda fun.
