The past few days have been crazy!! Today, Tuesday March 6, the temperature reached around 70 degrees. Having been in some very cold months recently, it may as well have been 90. Everyone was out on whatever field they could find, you would have been hard pressed to look at any patch of grass and not see a football or frisbee flying through the air or people laying in the sun studying or chatting. I was even wearing a tank top today and got a sun burn!
Almost nothing can put you in a good mood like a warm day and tons of friends out playing on the fields. Running around barefoot in summer clothes made me so happy and I am so excited for the rest of spring and all the fun things I am lucky enough to do here in Colorado. The weather, however, isn't quite ready to commit to the season yet and the forecast has snow in it for the next two days... a little strange in my opinion! There are a ton of fun spots around campus to enjoy the nice weather and luckily I remembered to snap a photo of a few of the favorites- the fountain area outside of the UMC, Norlin Quad, and Farrand Field.
