Fall is here!

Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, this week has started to feel like fall in lovely Boulder, CO. Today, (Wednesday), the overall temp outside reached 57 degrees, which is TREMENDOUSLY cooler than the average 90 degree temps we saw a week ago. This morning, everyone in Boulder experienced one of the wettest rainfalls we've had in months! I don't know about you, but I happen to enjoy the rain in Colorado since we don't see much of it. In fact, I was using an umbrella today and one of my friends asked, "You're from Colorado and you're using an umbrella?!" -Implying that we Coloradans never see enough rainfall to carry around umbrellas let alone use them. I was glad it was raining and I was proud I remembered an umbrella, so much that I started to prance around in the puddles and sing some "Singin' in the Rain" showtunes as I walked to and from classes. It was a glorious day! Some other people, however, did not appreciate the wetness, or my singing, so all I have to say to them is wait until it snows like crazy and you can't get anywhere... a little rain doesn't hurt!

Fall is my most favorite time of the year on campus and I can't wait to post pictures of the colorful trees! It really is the best time to visit campus if you are planning ahead. You'll walk through Norlin Quad, which has some of the biggest oak trees on campus, and they are gorgeous during fall. I remember I visited campus in October and it was the perfect day! The air was crisp, the sun was shining, and the golden leaves covered the sidewalks. It was absolutely beautiful! :)

Since my other posts have been really long, I thought I'd make this one short and sweet and share my excitement about the rainy weather we experienced today. I hope you come visit campus soon!!
