The semester is definitely coming to a close. Students are flocking to the library, the air is getting colder, and snow is on the ground.
It snowed Monday night and stuck around all day Tuesday, marking our first substantial snow of the year! I always say it, so I'll say it again, but Boulder looks so pretty when it snows. Everything's monochromed and looks like it's frosted and it's just the coolest thing a kid from Texas could ever experience. Unfortunately, snow means that: A. It's getting colder. And B. Finals are approaching. It's been very cold over the past weekend/beginning of the week, and that's always tough. Personally, I just bundle myself up Randy (from A Christmas Story) style and brave it out.
Cold is easy to deal with. Bundle up and stay inside. Finals, however, are a whole different animal. Depending on your class load, you might as well invest in a cot in the library. Luckily for me, senior year is treating me well, finals-wise. I only have 3 exams, and they're each going to be fairly straightforward (unlike last semester, when I got my butt kicked).
So enjoy this picture of the snow from last night, while I go study now so I can relax later!
