This past Monday, I was lucky enough to attend the Jason Mraz concert at Red Rocks Ampitheatre. Red Rocks is located in Golden, Colorado and is, in my opinion, the best place to see a concert. The ampitheatre is built into the rocks and has a great city view as you look out past the stage. Although there is a bit of a hike up many stairs to get to your seats, it is definitely worth it once you get there. This was my first time attending a concert at Red Rocks and it definitely lived up to all of the hype.
Jason Mraz is one of my favorite singers. I have always wanted to see him in concert and I was so excited when I heard that he was coming to Colorado. He is an amazing performer and got the crowd involved by giving us inspirational speeches and even conducting the wave in between songs. One of my favorite parts of the concert was when said that he was going to sing the oldest and best song about the environment and broke into the Mr. Rogers theme song. I attended this concert with my friend Kacey, my sister, Katie, and her boyfriend, Kai. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget and definitely the best concert I have ever been to. If you ever have the chance to attend any concert at all at Red Rocks Ampitheatre, make sure you go because you won't regret it.
