You know exactly what I mean when I say this if your computer has ever given up on you.
My computer crashed last week and almost my sanity with it. I try to convince myself that I can very much do without my pc but I guess not.
In it are all my documents since 2011, class assignments, unfinished papers, ASA docs, work docs, etc. I mean, I am an active student in 2012 so I have everything in there. I was really disturbed because I needed to get done with all my work. But, it's a lesson I never learn easy or hard. It's not my first computer crash and I did not back it up. I know the ITS will probably retrieve all my data, but until then, I have to do it all from a campus location.

The moral of the story, back-up your computer now! You've said tomorrow every day and tomorrow never comes (in case you've not realised it).
