Last weekend, was homecoming weekend for CU. Homecoming weekend is a time where alumni come back to Boulder and attend the game and relive some of their favorite college memories. For me, homecoming was all about a competition with all of the other sororities and fraternities. Homecoming weekend started with a Greek letter check in at the UMC where we all wore out greek letters and signed our name on a sheet of paper to show our support. The house with most people wearing their letters won points for their house. The next event for homecoming week was Homecoming King and Queen. This was a competition between all of the houses. It was a talent and interview competition and was judged by the panhellenic board.

The last competition for homecoming week was the parade. Every house made a float and we had a parade on the hill the morning before the game. Although we had to wake up really early in the morning so that the parade could be before the football game, we had a lo of fun. Our theme was sailing and crew and we made a large boat on our float and we all wore preppy polos and Sperrys. Some of our team had to perform a one minute dance in front of the judges to songs that related to sailing and crew. We then all went to the football game and although we lost to Stanford, we all had a lot of fun. I love homecoming week because I got to hang out with all of my friends as well as make some new ones!
