So this weekend my fraternity brothers and I decided to give in to our "fratty" urges and do what fraternity men do best: Golf.
We found a sweet deal at the nearby Haystack Mountain Public Golf Course for $5 that included a round of 9 holes, free chili, and a bucket of 50 balls for the driving range. I'm no golf pro, but that's a pretty good deal. We drove out (it's only about 20 minutes from campus) and signed ourselves up for a 3:30 tee time. In hindsight, we should have gone much earlier, because we're all pretty mediocre golfers, and as such we don't move too fast. And this time of year, the sun sets very early. We actually ended up having to give up on the 9th hole because none of us saw where our drives landed. There were 9 of us that went, and we also brought along one of our pledges, who helped us out by standing downrange by the green and watching where our balls landed. If not for him, I probably would have lost 15 balls instead of the 5 that I did anyways.
Enjoy this picture of me warming up on the driving range!
I think it's safe to say I can work on my swing and wardrobe.
