Happy Holidays

I’m almost there!

Just three days, three final exams, and a two-hour plane ride remain between me and my return to Texas. It’s bittersweet however, because, as I’ve been trying to show all semester, life is pretty fun at CU. I’m definitely going to miss all of my fraternity brothers and other Boulder friends, but it will be nice to see my Texas friends as well. It’ll also be nice to not have to worry about how many layers to wear, as the weather is much warmer back home.

Campus is getting into the holiday spirit too. My fraternity put Christmas lights and a tree up in and on our house, which is kind of ironic, because we’re the Jewish social fraternity (Alpha Epsilon Pi), and we have more decorations than the Christian sorority (Alpha Delta Chi), which is right next door to us. When it snowed this past week, campus just looked so ready for the holidays. It almost seems like we should just skip finals and go straight to winter break. But of course, that wouldn’t be good for our educations.

Stay tuned for Mike’s Blog, part 6 in the spring! And enjoy this picture of my fraternity brother, Ari, showing off his holiday spirit in front of our tree.
