Japan, 2005:

My father: ‘Funmi, be adventurous with food. Taste it and then spit it out if you must, but first taste it.

And where else to explore certain foods in Boulder but the Centre for Community Dining Hall? The C4C is more than just your regular dining hall. There are more than five different stations including Italian, Persian, Chinese stations and a grill, a sushi bar, a dessert lounge, etc. all buffet style. Infact, I briefly held a small grudge against Dining Hall Services because the C4C was opened right after I moved out of the residence halls. Well, since meal plans are easily accessible to everyone - freshman or not-, voila!

I absolutely love to cook but with a semester schedule such as this one, I’d take the C4C some evenings. I grabbed a friend earlier today and we got dinner.

                                     ^^ First Stop: Sushi

                             ^^Next Stop: Persian Station.

                               ^^Third Stop:Spring rolls from China.

^^ Instead of a full salad, we opted for carrots.

Take a trip to the C4C whether or not you live on campus. You’ll meet other great food lovers too…afterall, good food (in moderation) is essential for physical well being. Great excuse!
