This year was my first time ever having to celebrate Easter without my family. I was a little homesick but it ended up being an awesome day. I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to drive to Red Rock Amphitheater with some friends for a sunrise service. We got there just in time to see the full Moon dropping behind the hills in the West as the Sun was peeking out in the East. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen and being able to share it with hundreds of people on Easter morning was perfect.
We then went to Easter breakfast at Snooze AM Eatery on Pearl St. where we had amazing food and got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather we have been experiencing here in Boulder. So, although I was a little nervous for my first solo-Easter, it ended up being a lovely day filled with friends and the glory of Colorado.
