A Dreary Wednesday Night

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

While most people might disagree, I absolutely love it when it rains in Boulder. Because Boulder gets over 300 days of sun a year, it's kind of like a special treat when you have a rainy day. And tonight is no exception! All I want to do is curl up in bed with a blanket and some tea and watch a movie! But, unfortunately, that is not a life I can afford to live right now! Too much work to do! But I really don't mind, since I like all of the classes I'm taking this semester...which we've already been in for a month! Incredible!

This week for some sororities is Informal Recruitment, which means that Friday, the wonderful ladies of Alpha Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Delta Delta, Sigma Rho Lamda, and Alpha Delta Chi will be welcoming their spring pledge class! While Informal Recruitment is always smaller than Formal Recruitment in the Fall, it is always a lot of fun, and way more relaxed. This year, we're doing a circus themed bid day, which should be a lot of fun! I know that the people in charge of both recruitment and bid day have been working very hard to make sure that all of out current members and new members have a blast!

Other than that, Valentine's day is next week! While I might not have plans, I hope you all have a wonderful day with people you love!
