The Chaos of Finals
There is always a strange feeling looming the air around finals time. Everyone wants to take a brake but can’t bring him or herself to face the guilt of wasting anytime not studying with the knowledge that they will regret it when they miss that one question that they almost new on their 5 credit final. The school has a buzz about it as everyone tries to lock down what their friends are doing after they finish and when that will be. I personally am done on Wednesday and plan on relaxing afterward and catching up on my sleep while I wait for my fellow students to finish one of the hardest weeks of the semester. On Thursday when the whole school rejoices the passage of another milestone in their academic carrier you will find me celebrating the end of the Mayan long count calendar, and possibility the end of the world, with a collection of my friends. As with many of the other students my time spent enjoying my free time in Boulder will be cut short as I an all the other skiers and boarders make a mad dash for the mountains and attempt to find a friend in the mountains who has a place where we can jam far more people into far fewer beds then were originally attempted. However even my mountain trip will not be long lasting as the day before Christmas eve I must make my return back to Nashville just in time for the Holidays. Needless to say the students of Boulder are anything but inactive during our downtime from school.
