And just like that...

The cold has arrived! I am so excited for some cold weather to finally be here. And, even better, it's supposed to snow on Saturday! It's finally Fall for real this time. No more 80 degree weather...hopefully. You never know with Boulder, I guess! But luckily all of this cold weather has come at the right time, because it really discourages me from going outside and doing nothing when I should be studying for my midterms. I was fortunate enough to only have papers due this week, but I start my midterms on Monday, and unfortunately have a midterm every week for the next four weeks, culminating in what I like to call, The Day of Torture, in which I have three midterms back to back to back. Needless to say I will be happy when that day is over!

This weekend should be a lot of fun though, and I'm really excited. Not only is it supposed to snow Saturday, but it's also our first swim meet! While it is an intra (or is it inter?) team swim meet, it should be really relaxed and good to shake off the cobwebs and get back into competitions easily. Then, on Sunday, my Big Sister is getting married! I am so happy for her and her fiancé, and I can't wait for the wedding. The last time I went to a wedding I was 7 years old, so it will be interesting to see what it's like from a "big kid" perspective. Plus, a lot of my older friends who have graduated already are flying in for it, so it will be a huge reunion as well. Plus, Sunday is the Patriots vs. Broncos game, and I cannot wait!!! I am a huge Patriots fan, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, and I absolutely DETEST Peyton Manning, so this game should be interesting. Hopefully the reception location has a TV somewhere, because I cannot miss this game!

Other than that, there isn't much going on! Just lots of studying and office hours and swimming and trying to stay healthy! It's that time of year when the flu starts going around, and I know I definitely do want that! I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy this weekend, and GO PATS!
