One of my favorite bands...

Hi Everyone!

It seems like this semester I have spent a lot of time down in Denver! It is so nice how close CU is to a bigger city and how many opportunities there are to do fun things down there!  If you have read my previous posts, you will know that I went down a lot this semester to spend time with my sister. Well, last Friday, I went down yet again to see a concert!

CU Basketball

Monday, February 24, 2014

It seems as though this semester is providing me with a crazy amount of opportunities to add to the "Things I've Done At CU" list! In about 10 weeks, I really will finish having completed four years of solid FUN at CU.

College Gameday at CU

Sunday, February 23, 2014

Hi all!

It has been quite the exciting weekend and past week here in Boulder. Not only did the basketball team win big against ASU, but there has been a roller coaster of weather and College Gameday came to CU on Saturday for the Arizona game. To top it off, the Women’s Lacrosse team won their inaugural home opener at Folsom Field.

An Istanbul Derby

Thursday, February 20, 2014

This weekend marks the second annual installment of (one of) the Istanbul Derby games. In Istanbul there are three teams: Galatasaray, Fenerbahce (Fen-air-bah-che), and Besiktas (Be-sheikh-tash). Generally, Fenerbahce represents the Asian side, Besiktas hails from the neighbor for which it is named (Istanbul’s most populous), and Galatasaray is for the rest (although they are often associated with the genteel class).

To the Mountains or Bust!

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Hello readers!

I write this blog from a coffee shop on the hill in between classes. I often wonder how all of the coffee shops in Boulder stay in business because there seems to be one on every corner! But, I guess when you have a population of college students who survive on caffeine and need a place to study, the more the merrier!

Up and Coming in Boulder

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

If you have not been able to tell, I love to explore and try new things. I always want to experience the hype around or make my own opinion about a new restaurant, place, or activity in Boulder! This week's opportunities certainly fit this category.

My Favorite Olympic Events

Monday, February 17, 2014

Hi All!

Hope everything is going well! In the spirit of the Olympics, I wanted to give you all a rundown of my favorite winter Olympic sports. I have always loved watching the Olympics. Every other year, the most incredible and dedicated athletes from around the world lay it all on the line for their countries. During Olympic season, I also gain an enormous amount of energy and motivation to start working out and hopefully becoming good enough at a sport to make it to the Olympics. Anyways, here are my top 5 Olympic sports with some good justifications and some bad:

Eat, Study, Sleep, Repeat

Hello everyone!

I am writing this post from the Weather Tech Cafe in the C4C! This is one of my favorite places to hang out on campus because it has a really great atmosphere and a convenient location – it is close to the residence halls, so I always see someone I know here!

Morning Hikes

Monday, February 10, 2014

Hello all,

For those of you from around the country who may not have been paying as close of attention to the weather, for the past week Boulder has been freezing. For about 4 or 5 days in a row temperatures hovered in the single digits, and crossed into the negatives more than once. Now, for my warmer weather readers, don't fret. This type of weather pattern is abnormal and even through it all, we were still getting a remarkable amount of sunshine.
