Last Post Ever

Friday, May 17, 2013

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, this will be my last blog post ever (for the Office of Admissions, at least).

It’s been an amazing four years at CU-Boulder, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hopefully my blog should give you an idea of just how awesome our campus is, but there is really no substitute for physically visiting the campus and seeing it for yourself. That’s what got me hooked!

All hail the Homecoming Queen!

I was never much of a girly-girl growing up. I rarely ever played with dolls, choosing instead to play sports with the neighborhood boys. I loved to roll about in mud and dirt, rather than play dress up. Needless to say, I never really considered I was Queen status of any kind.

The day I drove a Ferrari through campus

Tuesday, May 7, 2013

It didn’t start out that way. Nobody ever really wakes up in the morning saying “I’m going to drive a Ferrari across campus today”. But as the day continued to unfold, it was clearly inevitable.

I'm a Forever Buff

Sunday, May 5, 2013

Hello all!

It is early on Sunday morning and I just finished eating a bagel from my favorite bagel shop in Boulder and I’m sipping on a latte getting ready to study. On Friday, I turned in my senior project and yesterday, I had one final for my International Political Economy class. Four more to go! Even though finals time is not my favorite time here at CU, it is still a little weird and sad to think that these are my final finals.

Closing Time

Wednesday, May 1, 2013

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this will be my last post! I'm graduating next Friday, and I can't believe it. I found out recently that I'm graduating both With Distinction from the University, and summa cum laude from my honors thesis. I am really happy and beyond proud of myself! Although I'm excited for graduation to happen and to be done with finals, I don't want to leave just yet! Although, not going to lie, this weather is making me reconsider that last statement. Whatever happened to spring!?
