Happy Halloween!

Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Happy Halloween everyone! I love this holiday, especially because it means that we're even closer to Thanksgiving, which means my birthday! Woohoo! I saw so many children today in the best costumes. A little girl dressed as a cat even did her best scary cat hiss at me. It was pretty spot on. I remember when I was little, my mom used to do the best face paint for me for Halloween. Especially when I was the Wicked Witch of the West. It was super scary and awesome!

Buffalo Stampede in Eugene

Monday, October 29, 2012

This weekend, missing my cousin Joe like none other, I grabbed a Halloween costume (a hipster) at Savers, packed up a duffel bag with clothes and a few books, and headed out to Eugene, Oregon with my cousin Ben and roommate Philip.  We stayed at Joe's house, a ten minute walk to campus in foggy Eugene.  He lives with an Alaskan, a Minnesotan, an Oregonian, and one of my best friends, Connor Soicher from Denver.

Adventure is Out There!

Sunday, October 28, 2012

Well everyone, we are closing in on November. November! What?! Halloweekend is coming to an end and Christmas decorations are taking over the aisle of our favorite retail giants. But there is this little holiday in between Halloween and Christmas, isn’t there? Oh yes! Thanksgiving.

I am so excited for Thanksgiving this year. One week off--- with few school related things to worry about, with time to do whatever I want! So what am I doing with my week? Hopping on a plane to explore DC.

Halloween in Boulder

Sunday, October 28, 2012

Halloween is one of those holidays that doesn't obey rules. It can fall on any day of the week, and it can be celebrated on days that aren't Halloween.

A Week Of Fun!

Saturday, October 27, 2012

This week, I had gotten all my homework done on the weekend, so all week I really had no work that was pressing me to get it done! That was nice because I was able to do a lot of social events and spend some time cleaning up my room and using up the last few days of my CorePower Yoga month membership!

Campus In The Morning

Thursday, October 25, 2012

I have to lift three times per week with the lacrosse team at 7:15 a.m. As a result, I am on campus before classes get going, and I am usually riding home right around the time that classes are finally starting.

Making a Difference

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great week and getting ready for Halloween! Anybody have any good costumes? I think I'm going to be a Patriots player. We need more representation out here!

Big/Little Week

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Last week was Big/Little week in my sorority. This means that the new pledge class gets paired up with a girl from the older pledge class to be her big sister. This week is a lot of fun because you get to find out who your big sister and little sister will be. I was so excited to find out who my little was! The week of Big/Little reveal, we give our littles presents everyday to show them how much their appreciated and how happy we are that they are a member of our sorority.

Hittin' the Links

Monday, October 22, 2012

So this weekend my fraternity brothers and I decided to give in to our "fratty" urges and do what fraternity men do best: Golf.

Bad Days Come and Bad Days Go

Sunday, October 21, 2012

So, maybe you’re under the impression that Boulder and CU are this wonderful, magical wonderland where nothing upsetting ever happens. While this is true, 99% of the time, sometimes a bad day sneaks up on you when you’re least expecting and enjoying all the magic that is CU.
