Monday I celebrated a very momentous day in every college students life: the last, first day of school! It was at that moment that I realized I had such a short amount of time left here at CU Boulder. This realization came with a mishmash of feelings - I am going to miss everything that I have learned to love at CU Boulder, but at the same time, I am excited to begin a new chapter in my life. 

Here I am on the eve of the last day of summer break. On Monday morning, my carefree summer days will be replaced by a crazy schedule filled with class, work, and extracurricular. While that may not sound appealing, I am extremely excited to get back into the swing of life as a CU student.

This year, I am a senior, which means I will soon say goodbye to Boulder and life as a buff.  Say it isn’t so! This realization is what brought me to create a “Boulder Bucket List.”

The time has come to start packing up my things and move back out to beautiful Boulder! I can't believe that Saturday I'll be fully moved in and ready to start my senior year! So crazy. I have so much to look forward to this year. My Big, Kelsey (for those of you who don't know, a Big is kind of like a mentor in your sorority) is getting married in October, and I'm so happy for her. Also, a bunch of my friends and I are going on a perimeter ride down at Garden of the Gods, which is one of my favorite places in Colorado. Everyone should go if they get a chance!

As the fall semester nears closer, I find myself in a mix of emotions. In just a few days I will officially be a senior in college! As crazy as it may sound, I’m excited to leave the summer behind and start all of the activities that come with the new semester…even though I’m a little sad that it means that I’m one step closer to leaving CU.

Most of you probably aren’t entering your senior year. So, I decided to create a list of tips for incoming or transfer students. Hopefully this list helps you discover what kind of Buff you will be!

I’m currently writing from my new apartment in the Spanish Towers in Boulder, Colorado. I could not be happier to be back.

Being back in Boulder means that the end of the summer is just around the corner, and this means that I will have to say goodbye to my job at the Capitol.

How do I say goodbye to a job that had the best hours, gave me great experience and was in a prime location? Luckily, I have Boulder to come home to so I suppose it will make the goodbyes a little easier.
