Hands-on Learning:
The College promotes hands-on learning through its Active Learning Program. Students benefit from the award-winning Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory (ITLL) which mirrors the way professional engineers investigate and solve problems. The Discovery Learning Center promotes independent team research directed by a graduate student mentor, faculty research director, and industry sponsor.
Faculty: Faculty members have been honored by the National Science Foundation, the National Academy of Engineering, and with College of Engineering and Applied Science awards.
Highlights: The Quadrangle Engineering & Science Living and Learning Community offers on-site tutoring, access to an extensive computer network configured to match the engineering computer labs, wireless computer access, enhanced academic support services, and calculus work groups in-residence.
