Students at Global JamYou don’t have to wait until you arrive on campus to get connected with CU Boulder and with other future Buffs! Here are some ways you can connect with and learn more about the CU Boulder community before arriving on campus.

Connect with us on social media. Admitted to CU Boulder already? Join our Facebook group! Let us know you’re #BoulderBound by joining the Official Facebook Group for the University of Colorado Boulder Class of 2021. This group is a place for admitted incoming students to chat and meet people who are attending the University of Colorado Boulder as a member of the Class of 2021. We encourage you to interact with other students from around the world!

You can also connect with us and other Buffs on Twitter and Instagram! Let us know you’re #BoulderBound across social media!

Discover student programs and groups. CU Boulder has many opportunities for international students, and doing some research ahead of time can help you discover ways to become involved prior to arriving on campus. Within the Cultural Unity and Engagement Center, there are excellent International Student and Scholar Programs available throughout the year, including the annual International Festival (I-Fest) taking place this April! Interested in joining a club? CU International is a great place to start! You can also browse the International Student & Scholar Programs Facebook page to see what events are happening on campus.

Explore your housing options. As a CU Boulder student, many of your connections will be made within the residence halls through campus housing. Now is a great time to start researching your housing options to find the best fit that meets your interests. With Residential Academic Programs (RAPs), Living Learning Communities (LLCs), First-year Interest Groups (FIGs) and traditional communities to choose from, there are a variety of options to explore! Our $300 housing deposit is refundable, so explore your options early!

We’re looking forward to welcoming you on campus! In the meantime, we’re looking forward to connecting with you and helping you get connected to CU Boulder.
