About the Honor Code

All records are confidential and closed to the public, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Records pertaining to honor proceedings of any student who is accused and not held over for a panel hearing, or who is found not responsible, will be immediately disposed of. If a student is found responsible, records will be kept as detailed in the decision letter and in accordance with the university records policy. Information will only be released with the student’s permission and written release.
