2012 in Review
I would like to thank all of the people who have participated in our second year. Thank you to our speakers but also to the people who came and participated by asking questions, sharing experiences, mentoring, and learning. The resadmin@lists.colorado.edu has been successful. The list has been used to ask questions, share forms, share tips, and network within our community. The list and the group are enriched by your support. Thank you!

February: Tim Spahn, ICS, shared his supplemental grant management tools.
March: Pat Dodson, SPA, shared policy updates and current compliance issues. This was back when Pat was with SPA and not OCG.
April: Sheryl Jensen, VCR, research faculty personnel issues & updates
May: Leila McCamey & Jenny Shao, ABS, answered our questions in a panel discussion
June: Leila McCamey taught us about the m-FIN reports in COGNOS.
July: Sandy Hicks, Amy Gannon, and Charlene Lydick updated us on the CU Marketplace changes, sole source procurement, and answered our questions.
August: Stefanie Furman and Diane Przygocki, ABS, discussed the Space Survey. We discovered the new JILA X-wing building.
September: We had a discussion about morale in the workplace.
October: Tina Tan and Janet Garcia, ISSS, discussed the U.S. visa options for foreign nationals.
November: Tim Spahn, ICS, shared with us tips and tricks he uses in MS Excel for managing the large datasets of sponsored project accounting.
December: No meeting. Happy Holidays!
