General: This training, also known as Session I of the departmental property manager (DPM) certification, covers the purchasing, receiving, transferring, maintaining, and inventorying of capital equipment (tagged equipment $5,000+). Ted DeMaria from CIRES will lead the session providing best practice processes for meeting the departmental obligations that come with the purchase of equipment. Ted's department manages more than 600 tagged assets. The ABS Property Accounting staff will be available as a panel to answer any specific questions related to their role in the process.
Details: Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 9:00-Noon at the Marine St Science Center, room W179 Computer Training Room, 3215 Marine Street, Boulder (east campus). Attendance at this hands-on training will be noted and placed in your online My Training.
