At the University of Colorado it is possible to prepare for admission into a variety of professional programs in health care fields. For programs that require a B.A. degree prior to admission, you will be expected to complete the requirements for an undergraduate major along with the prerequisite courses for the health program in which you are interested.
The prerequisites for the programs at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC) and Colorado State University are given in our PreHealth Program Flyers (see below). These prerequisites are often similar to the prerequisites for the professional programs at other universities. However, for specific information, visit the individual pages for each field.
If you have additional questions, please visit the
PreProfessional Advising Center in University Club, room 111, send an e-mail to the PreProfessional Advising Center at prepro@colorado.edu or contact a PreHealth advisor by e-mail (addresses are to the right in the sidebar.) If you are not a current CU student, you may call 303-735-3000 to make an appointment.
Group meetings are often available at busy times of the semester. To find out about scheduled group meetings, please go to http://aac.colorado.edu/group.
