On-line placement testing for French, German, Russian and Spanish
Do You Know Whether You Need to Take the Language Placement Test? Have you already taken it but forgot your score?
You may want to take a language placement test if:
- You did not complete three years or third level of the same language.
- You plan to continue studying a language.
- Note: You cannot "test out" of the language requirement through this placement test.
- If you plan to begin studying a new language, you do not need to take the placement test;
you can just enroll in the introductory level course in that language.
- This test is designed to help you place into the appropriate language class. You are on the honor system for completing the exam without assistance. Enrolling in the wrong level of a language could really hurt your grade point average.
Students who have NOT taken the on-line placement test for French, German, Russian, or Spanish can still log on to the placement test site and take the placement test.
- The code you will need to access the language placement tests is "ralphie1"
- Log on to the placement testing web site
- Print and keep a copy of your language placement score.
- If you get disconnected or forget to print your placement results, simply return to the web site, reenter your name, ID, and e-mail address exactly as you did before, and press "resume." This will take you back to the exam results or let you continue the exam.
Have you already taken the on-line placement test?
- Students who previously took the on-line placement test for French, German, Russian, or Spanish but forgot their score can log on to the placement test site to view their test placement scores.
- The code you will need to access the language placement tests is "ralphie1"
- Log on to the placement testing web site
- Once you log on you will be able to enter your name, e-mail address and ID (exactly as you previously entered them) to obtain your previous testing score.
- Print and keep a copy of your language placement score.
