Current Issue/Words/The Dotted, Yellow Line Mandy Holland "The Dotted, Yellow Line" Different beds with different parents. One home couldn't hold the erupting emotions. White house and a father. Yellow house and a mother. Love enough for me in the combination, but still the notion of a family lost. Smiles all around for the torn child: devastation is not an option. Memories help in such a change; neither parent loves me any less. Turning wheels and a dotted, yellow line determine the unwanted future Two homes, two lives, one child.
