The University of Colorado is implementing an electronic research administration (eRA) application purchased from InfoEd, Inc. It will provide an integrated set of on-line tools for staff and faculty to use in submitting and processing grants and contracts, human subject research protocols, conflict of interest disclosures, etc.

- A proposal tracking module for the Office of Grants and Contracts is in development and is expected to go live in the fourth quarter of 2012.
- A module for submitting Conflict of Interest and Commitment disclosures is planned to be implemented in 2012. It will replace the current Disclosures of External Professional Activities (DEPA) system for this function.
- Modules for Animal Safety and the Institutional Biosafety Committee are being assessed regarding their ability to serve CU-Boulder's needs.
