Council on Research & Creative Work The Council on Research and Creative Work (CRCW) was created on October 1, 1935, to encourage and strengthen research and creative work at the University of Colorado. The primary function of CRCW is to provide faculty members with financial assistance and time free from teaching responsibilities so they may pursue their research interests. This year, the CRCW will award the Distinguished Research Lectureship, Faculty Fellowships, Junior Faculty Development Awards, grants-in-aid and conference awards. Forms and guidelines may be downloaded from this site (see below). The CRCW normally consists of 10 to 12 faculty members, active in research and/or creative work, who review proposals during the academic year. Council members are appointed by the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research. Click here to see the CRCW Policies & Procedures as an Adobe Acrobat .pdf file. CRCW Application Forms
