Meet the Vice Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor and the staff of the Divison of Administration are responsible for providing a campus environment which enables the creation, advancement, and transfer of knowledge. In that capacity, the Vice Chancellor for Administration ensures that the campus is: a safe, orderly, and healthy place to be, free from environmental hazards; that property, facilities, and equipment are in good repair; that capital planning is responsive to academic needs; that exceptional and diverse individuals are recruited, developed, and promoted to staff the campus; and that services are entrepreneurial and customer-service oriented.

The Vice Chancellor for Administration serves as the senior administrative officer for facilities management, public safety, human resources, and several internal service centers. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Budget and Planning, and works closely with this officer, the Chancellor, Provost, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, other administrative officers, faculty, and students to formulate long-range capital improvement planning, and financial plans and strategies for the campus.
