How to Apply for Federal Perkins Loan
First-time Borrowers
- Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Accept the loan online via MyCUInfo.
- Complete the Federal Perkins Master Promissory Note in MyCUInfo. A hyperlink will appear after the loan has been accepted.
- Complete the Perkins Questionnaire and submit it to the Office of Financial Aid.
Repeat Borrowers
- Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Accept the loan online via MyCUInfo.
- Typically, students who have borrowed a Perkins loan previously do not need to complete a second Master Promissory Note or Perkins Questionnaire.
