Academic Departments and the Graduate School
The Graduate School and academic departments offer a variety of merit-based programs including grants, fellowships, research and teaching assistantships, and awards from outside agencies. If you wish to be considered for these awards, contact your department. If you receive federal financial aid and a tuition waiver as part of a graduate assistantship or research assistantship, your tuition waiver will be considered an award or scholarship and will be applied to your financial aid package.
Leeds School of Business
The Leeds School of Business offers scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships. Select the academic program you are interested in to learn more about the type of aid that is available.
School of Law
The School of Law offers a variety of scholarships. Incoming law students are automatically considered for awards based on merit and need. Information for these awards is obtained from the law school application and the FAFSA.
International Graduate Students
Only U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens may be awarded federal financial aid. However, the Graduate School, the College of Business and Administration, and the School of Law may award international students. Visit the Office of International Education to learn about additional resources for graduate students.
