RESEARCHING YOUR TEACHING: EXPLORING STUDENTS' LEARNING IN YOUR DISCIPLINE

Do you ever wonder why your students aren't learning something you've set out as a goal in your teaching? Have you considered systematically collecting information from students to explore these questions? In this session, we introduce how to access and conduct research on learning and teaching. After learning about why and how to collect data from your students to understand their learning and how you can disseminate your findings, we will have a brainstorming session. Come with an idea or question you have about your own students' learning.
