Consult

Consult lets you "consult" with a person at the originally dialed extension when a call has been redirected to you on a Call Coverage Path. This feature will override Send All Calls.


To initiate Consult

  1. Once you have received a redirected call:
  2. Press Transfer button; listen for confirmation tone.
  3. Press Consult button.
  4. Consult with person at originally dialed extension.
  5. If the call is accepted, press Transfer or Conference button.
  6. If the call is declined, press Call Appearance #1 and take a message.
