Consult lets you "consult" with a person at the originally dialed
extension when a call has been redirected to you on a Call Coverage
Path. This feature will override Send All Calls.
To initiate Consult
- Once you have received a redirected call:
- Press Transfer button; listen for confirmation tone.
- Press Consult button.
- Consult with person at originally dialed extension.
- If the call is accepted, press Transfer or Conference button.
- If the call is declined, press Call Appearance #1 and take a message.
