CU Speak Toastmasters Club

         Welcome to CU Speak! We would be glad for you to visit any meeting. Visiting is the best way to learn about our club and Toastmasters.  When you visit, feel free to talk with our members and ask them questions. The club is a place to advance your skills for various aspects of spoken, live communication. The club provides benefits for people in a variety of situations. These include people with experience in public speaking, people new to public speaking, and people uncomfortable with public speaking.

Your membership provides…

·        A means to improve your presentation skills.  You will develop skills for:

  • Presentations and speeches
  • Reducing fear or tension in public speaking
  • Meetings, interviews, conversations, and other impromptu speaking situations

·        Professionally prepared educational materials

·        Regular, hands –on practice

·        A structure that allows you to proceed at your own pace

·        A supportive atmosphere of fun and fellowship

·        A way to expand leadership skills

·        Affiliation with a highly-regarded international organization

 

Location and Time

Location is Business Building (Leeds School of Business) Room 201 (Summer 2005)

Our location may change in future semesters. Look for signs or listen for applause to find the room.

Fall, Spring, and Summer. (You may join at any time during a term).

Mondays (except some holidays)
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Visitors are always welcome.
