About Us

The Muslim Students Association was established in 1980 by a handful of Muslim students. The sole purpose of the Association is to help educate Muslims and non-Muslims about the religion of Islam hoping in the process to clarify any misunderstandings about the religion as a result of the sometimes negative media image of Islam.

Islam is a unifying force that believes in the unity of mankind as the Quran states: "O mankind! we created you from a single pair of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other). Verily, the most honored of you in the sight of God is he/she who is most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted with all things"
