How do I join?

Come to the beginning of any roll session or the informational meeting at the beginning of each semester. Just bring the dues ($50 for the year, $30 for Spring and Summer only) and fill out a waiver and code of conduct form.


I can't make/missed the informational meeting. Can I still join?

Yes. Just come to the beginning of any roll session.


What comes with club membership?

  • Access to club gear on trips and roll/practice sessions.
  • Access to all roll sessions and trips
  • Discounts at local stores

What discounts do club members get at local stores?

FYI: Discounts are for members who regularly attend club meetings and must be on file. see club officers for details.

  • 15% of at Alpine Sports (Spruce St. west of 28th St.) The only local paddle shop in Boulder.

Where are the roll sessions?

Roll sessions are held in the Clare Small pool. In the Rec Center, when you go into the main pool area through the main doors there is a ramp going down on the right, follow it all the way down.


Who can join the club?

Any CU student, faculty member or staff and anyone who has a rec center membership. (Basically anyone who has access to the Rec Center.) Your skill level doesn't matter. Even if you don't know what kayaking is you can still join.


Do I need any gear?

If you have your own gear, we suggest bringing it. However, we have all the kayaking gear you need (boats, paddles, skirts, pfd's, helmets, etc.).


I wish to donate something to the club. Who do I contact and can I get a receipt?

Just send us an e-mail. We can get you a letter from the Club Sports office stating the amount of the donation and other basic info.


Can I donate old/used gear?

If it will be useful to the club and is in good condition, yes.
