Auditions for the 2011-2012 Season

-For the 2011-2012 season there will be a mandatory audition that will cover the required technique for the team. All participants will turn in the tryout application and $25 tryout fee (per tryout) during registration. All the money made from the tryout fees will go towards the 2011-2012 team's travel expenses.The link to the application is below. During the audition, dancers will stretch, warm-up and proceed to demonstrate their technique. All participants will be put into groups to perform in front of the judges. The participants will demonstrate the required technique and the dance taught during the audition. Attitude and effort can make or break your chances of making the team. After tryouts are completed all participants will be emailed the decision within 24 hours.

INFORMATION MEETING
- Monday, August 29
- 6:30pm in Rec. Center Conference Room 3-4
Anyone interested in being a part of either the jazz or hip hop team should attend.

JAZZ TRY OUTS
- Saturday, September 03, 2011:

12:00pm - 3:00pm - Bear Creek Rec Center Multipurpose Room.
Check in starts at 11:30am. Please bring try out application, $25 try out fee, Buff Card, and proper jazz attire - black booty shorts/jazz pants & sports bra are preferred..

HIP HOP TRY OUTS
-Sunday, September 04, 2011:

12:00pm - 3:00pm - Bear Creek Rec Center Multipurpose Room.
Check in starts at 11:30am. Please bring try out application, $25 try out fee, Buff Card, and proper hip hop attire.

-Right/left leaps
-Right and left switch leaps
