Men's Coach :: Ainslie MacEachran
As a competitive cyclist for 17 years, Ainslie spent 4 years racing in Europe and 4 years as a professional. He has ridden in 3 USPro Championships, 2 U.S. Olympic Trials, the prestigious Het Volk classic and numerous Cat. 1 (elite) National Championships. Ainslie is certified by ACE and AAAI/ISMA for personal training and is a USAC certified Cycling Coach.
Women's Coach :: Missy Thompson
Missy Thompson has raced at an elite level for the past 10 years. During her years of elite competition Missy has had the opportunity to work with many of the best coaches, physiologists, nutritionists, sports psychologists, and athletes. She has gained a wealth of knowledge that she wants to share with the CU cycling team.
Missy has raced nationally and internationally as both a track sprint, track 500m rider and road rider. She has been a member of the US National Team and the T-Mobile Professional Women's Cycling Team. Missy has attended races including World Cups, World Championships, Pan American Championships and the Tour de France Feminine. Missy has won 22 National Championship medals including two Junior National Championships and 8 Collegiate National Championships. She has set national records in the 200m and 500m that stand to this day.
In addition to racing, Missy has participated in the sport of cycling as a coach, promoter, and official. She has been on the Colorado Velodrome Association Board for the past 3 years. When not training or coaching, Missy spends her time doing research in the University of Colorado's Locomotion Laboratory.
