CU Cycling Takes Podium at Every National Event
CU Cycling went to all three national championships and made the podium at each. At Track Nats, we took fourth with only five people while all the other teams on the podium had 12 or more! At MTB Nats, Josh Bezecny took the overall omnium, and the team took second! Also, Colorado schools took four of the top five overall places, and further confirmed that we can ride in almost any condition. And finally, three riders represented us at Cyclocross Nats in Portland taking fourth overall. Yet again this season CU Cycling was the only collegiate team to take the podium at every national event!

At Mountain Bike Nationals in Angel Fire, New Mexico the CU Cycling Nationals team took 2nd. Thanks to our riders, coaches, sponsors, and fans for another dominate, successful mountain bike season. USA Cycling has apologized for, and corrected the error, but since it ended up in print in various publications, we wanted to clarify it ourselves.

CU Cycling Invitational - March 29th, 2003
Unfortunately, CU Cycling was unable to organize a race for its tentative March 29th date, but we still want the company of our fellow collegiate athletes. We have decided the next best alternatvie to a race was to invite everyone to Boulder to accompany us on one of our infamous group rides.

We are still trying to put a race together, albeit another date, and hopefully will have an announcement shortly. However, we figured many of you are traveling to the Front Range for CSU's Sunday race, so we thought we should make your trip worthwhile.

Post-ride info: We are meeting for food and a movie in Hellems 199 (#36 on map). Bring $5 for a burrito, chips & salsa, and more.

You can download the invitational flyer for details. There is no registration (or cost for that matter) for the event, but we would appreciate an RSVP to: invitational@cucycling.com.
