Please help the Earthquake Relief in China!

Dear friends,

You may have heard about the sad news-- a 7.9-magnitude earthquake on Monday, May
12th, devastated China. More than 15,000 deaths have been reported. Tens of
thousands of homes, schools and factories are razed to the ground. It is the worst
disaster in China in 32 years. Roger Bilham, a professor of geological sciences at
the University of Colorado at Boulder, estimated that the death toll could reach
as high as 50,000. (http://www.colorado.edu/news/r/c374a98be74d77fdd759fa99b2f71c1e.html)

It is a tragedy, but we can help to make it less miserable! There are still tens
of thousands of people missing, who might still be struggling in darkness. They
still have chance to love this world, if they can be found ASAP. There are also
tens of thousands of people injured, who are eagerly waiting for food and medicine
to alleviate their pain. The Chinese resecue troops are fighting so hard against
death and pain. More and more people are being rescued; tents, food, clean water
and medicine are being sent there. However, that is NOT enough! More resources for
refugee resettlement and home rebuilding are needed urgently. The sooner we can
act, the less they will suffer.

For us CU-CSSA, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Univ. of Colorado
at Boulder, we are very sad to hear the disaster. Now we are trying our best to
raise money for them, and help as much as we can. If you are willing to help,
please donate for the people who are suffering pain. Any amount of donation will
be greatly appreciated¡ª as an example, $50 will provide enough food for a typical
Chinese family for a month at this emergent time!
