Sorry for
the inconvenience brought to you.
A deadly earthquake measuring 7.9 on Richter scale hit
Sichuan Province,
China
on May 12th, 2008 (Local Time). 28,881 deaths and 198,347 people
injured, about 14,000 buried and 27,560 rescued have been reported by
May 17th (LT). Tens of thousands of homes, hospitals, schools and
factories are razed to the ground. It is considered the most
devastating natural disaster in
China
in the past thirty years. Shocked and grieved by this disaster is the
whole Boulder Chinese community.
Relief troops and professionals have been deployed; more and more
people will be rescued; and tents, food, clean water and medicine are
sending there. However, more resources for refugee resettlement and
home rebuilding are urgently needed ! CSSA,
the Chinese Students and Scholars Association, is doing her best to
raise funds for earthquake relief. For details, please refer the
letter from CSSA president and the Donation FAQ.
