Don't worry if you've never seen a boat before. Almost every novice rower is exactly that, a true novice. Over three-quarters of the novice squad (both men and women) were true novices during the 2006-2007 season. Despite this "inexperience" both squads traveled to the conference finals where every single member of the guy's squad took home a medal, beating such teams as UC Davis and Washington State University.
